I've been toying with the idea of archiving recipes that come from the kitchens of moms and grandmoms from my social circle in Mumbai. The recipes will be supported by pics, detailed instructions and is aimed at the newb cook who really needs everything spelt out.

Going to start with some of my mom's recipe. Thinking of prawns pulau, chana masala and sorpatel.

Oh .. and the name of the blog ... Mai means mother in Konkani.
